The Junior Youth Ministry of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Penang, caters to teens going to High School.
Vision
To share the love of Christ in a contemporary, practical way for teens to understand and live out.
Mission
To provide guidance through the monthly gatherings, ministry meetings and leadership development. The activities are geared toward personal development through faith sharing, faith based group dynamics (which includes games), a vibrant Christ centered life of worship and activities faithful to the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.
Monthly Gatherings are held at the Top Floor Classroom, typically on the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of the month. The worship team meets almost every Saturday at the same venue and leads the weekly Praise and Worship before the Secondary School Catechism Classes begin, and also ministers at the celebration of the Holy Eucharist on the 5th Sunday of the Month
The Ministry works in collaboration with the CEC in conducting and assisting in the camps held every year in March and November.
