In John 18:11, Jesus tells Peter to put his sword away after he struck the ear of the high priest’s servant. This illustrates that Jesus does not want to struggle against the will of God. Jesus then says that He must drink from the cup the Father has given Him. We must strive to be like Jesus, following and trusting in God’s plan for us with obedience, no matter how unpleasant the situation may be.
若18：11里，在伯多禄砍了大司祭仆人的耳朵后 耶稣告诉伯多禄 让他把剑收起来。这表现了耶稣不愿意与天主的旨意做斗争。耶稣接着说祂必须喝下天父赐给祂的杯。我们必须竭力效仿耶稣，无论情况有可能多么糟糕，都全心全意地跟随并相信天主为我们的计划。
