In today’s Gospel reading, John 8:32 speaks to me because knowing the truth will set me free from the lies of the world and the evil one that satan wants me to believe : self-doubts, fears, and worries. I must repent and equip myself with the wisdom of discernment by knowing God’s word to overcome the battles of spiritual warfare within me so that I won’t stray further away from God and not be deluded by the lies of satan, even when I fall into sin. I know that God will not leave me and He is not mad at me despite the imperfections and flaws that I present. This verse also reminds me that God wants me to draw closer to Him no matter the circumstance because God wants me to experience the true love that He has for me, and His love is way beyond satan’s lies and deception.
在今天的福音中，若望福音8：32吸引了我，因为认识真理将使我从世上的谎言和撒旦要我相信的邪恶，包括自我怀疑，恐惧和忧虑中解脱。我必须悔改并以通过了解主的话用能辨别的智慧来装备自己，以战胜我内心里属灵的战争，这样即使我陷入犯罪才不会偏离天主，也不会被撒旦的谎言迷惑。我知道纵使我的不完美和缺陷，天主不会离开我 也不会对我生气。这个章节也提醒我天主要我在任何情况都能更接近祂，因为天主要我体验祂对我的真爱，祂的爱是远远超过撒旦的谎言和欺骗的。
