In today’s Gospel reading Matthew 20 :23, James and John did not understand the repercussion of the question their mother had asked when she requested to Jesus that her sons sit on His left and on His right in the kingdom. Jesus could not grant this as only His Father could. I realise that God is always in control and I pray that He will grant me humility, and help me to humble myself with whatever accomplishments I achieve.
今天玛窦福音第20章23节中，雅各伯和若望不明白他们的母亲向耶稣要求她的儿子们在王国内坐在他的左边和右边的问题所带来的影响。耶稣不能应允，因为这只有他的父能做到。我意识到天主一直都掌权，我祈祷他能赐予我谦卑，并帮助我在任何的成就中谦虚自己。
